I can see that the article is rather observing with lots of insightful data. In Any Event, was curious whether you would love to exchange links with my web space, as I am looking forward to compile more web links to further broaden and make headway for my web site. I don't really mind you laying my links at the home page, just having this web links on this respective page is good and adequate. Anyway, please contact me at my website if you are interested in swapping links, I would really appreciate that. Thanks and hope to get a reply from you very soon!

The point you make about simplicity being king in the consumer world, versus functionality being king in the enterprise world really rings a bell for me. I was working in a rapidly growing company and my department was kind of a buffer between the IT division, whose lingo nobody could understand, and the rest of the workforce. This dichotomy was the hardest thing to convey to both parties' satisfaction, because the other departments wanted things to be simple for the employees, whereas the IT technicians viewed things from their own perspective.
Great job on clearly pointing out the differences!

One other comment: I'm not sure if these two approaches will merge, but I do see upcoming tech like Microsoft Oslo as allowing better Master Metadata Management for enterprises.

Transaction models are called extended versus atomic in the literature. Atomic txn's have ACID properties that guarantee database state consistency in the face of failures and concurrent accesses.

Extended transactions can themselves have multiple models allowing for various kinds of tradeoffs, which is where the CAP Theorem comes from.

Also, I am not sure I would comfortably call Spring Security "complete".
